The Little Flower

Nikon D40x ~ 105mm Macro Lens ~ Manual mode: f6.3 ~ 1/200

This was taken on September 14. It was shot in the light box (collapsible photo tent) Dean got me. He found it at Harbor Freight Tools, of all places, for about 1/2 the price it would be at a camera store. The flower was on the "floor" of the light box with my SB-800 shot through the right side, I think on half power.

I don't know what kind of flower this is. It blooms late summer, up until frost. It just appeared in my garden a few years ago. It must have tagged along with some perennials I bought from a lady who sold them out of her garden.

Anyway, I've been out of commission for various reasons. The only photographing I've done in the past three weeks was/is at work, really can't post those here. I need to get out and take some pics!

Marci,

Great work! Keep it up! I like the light tent on the cheap from Harbor Freight! What a great find! I'll be posting a tutorial soon that will help you can use with your SB800.

All the best,

Stephen
